Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai flagged off a bus on Wednesday with 60 people who will be going to Ayodhya to provide their seva to Ram Bhakts.

These 60 people will be serving in Ayodhya for 60 days. The team of 60 Ram Sevaks was flagged off from the capital Raipur to Ayodhya.

Shri Ram's Relationship with Chhattisgarh

Lord Ram has a special relationship with Chhattisgarh as it is the birthplace of his mother Kaushalya. It is believed that Mata Kaushalya's birthplace is a village named Chandkhuri (चंदखुरी), which lies approximately 30kms from the state's capital Raipur. The people of the state call Shri Ram their nephew (bhanja) and therefore their happiness regarding the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was at its peak.

Apart from this, Lord Ram also spent a long time in Chhattisgarh during his exile (vanvas), and it was in Chhattisgarh where he met Shabri. Ram Bhakts from the village of Shabri also took "Ber" to Ram Mandir as a gift for Ram Lalla.

60 people-60 days- Seva for Ram Bhakts

CM Vishnu expressed his joy on the occasion by saying that the Ram Bhakts from Chhattisgarh are a bit happier than those from other states because Lord Ram had a special relationship with Chhattisgarh.

CM Vishnu said, "Chhattisgarh's nephew (Bhanja) Lord Ram seated in Ayodhya on January 22. The entire nation and the world are in joy of Lord Ram, and we are a bit happier because Chhattisgarh is the maternal birthplace of Lord Ram. It is the birthplace of Mata Kaushalya. We are continuously sending teams for various programs to Ayodhya. Today, people from 6 committees (60 people) are going to Ayodhya to provide free food to Ram devotees there for the coming 60 days."

This team of people will be serving free food to people in Ayodhya who come to visit the temple. For this, rice and vegetables are sent from the state. A team of doctors is also sent to Ayodhya to provide services to the needy. The CM said, "We will also work on sending people by train to Ayodhya. In the coming days, the government will also send people to Ayodhya at government expense through the Ramlala Darshan Scheme. A committee has been formed for the same."

The whole country is celebrating the inauguration of Ram Mandir, and people have been sending different kinds of gifts to Lord Ram.
