Mathew Perry passed away, but Chandler will live on as the best friend

In a tragic news, Matthew Perry who was famous for playing the iconic character of Chandler in the famous American sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S passed away at the age of 54 at his residence.

Matthew Perry lost his life from drowning in the Jacuzzi. according to reports, he returned from a two-hour round of pickleball game after which he asked his assistance to run an errand. After returning after almost 2 hours later, the assistant found Matthew unresponsive in the Jacuzzi and called 911 for assistance. No drugs were founds and no foul play is suspected. The Los Angeles Police Department's robbery-homicide detectives are investigating the case.

His last Instagram post was also about him enjoying time in Jacuzzi by posting a picture with caption

Every person who has watched friends wants a friend like Chandler in their life. Chandler was a friend who will support you in your career, be a partner in crime, be next to you every time you face a problem and will miss you dearly when you leave. Matthew Perry was the face of Chandler. The character who was favourite to millions.

For most of Friends' fan, Matthew was the face of Chandler and Chandler was the face of Sarcasm. His dialogues are still fresh in the memory and his expression will never fade.

Matthew Perry portrayed Chandler for 10 years over 10 seasons totalling 234 episodes from 1995 to 2004. He notably lost lots of weight in Season 7 and that's when his health issues were visible even on screen. Matthew Perry was addicted to drugs and alcohol to very severe extents which made him suffer mentally as well as physically.

According to reports, his addiction started after he was prescribed opioids(pain killers) after an accident in 1997. He himself said that his addiction was so bad that one point, his used to take 50 pills a day while also shoot for Friends.
