Mexico's Congress hosted a peculiar event in Mexico City where ufologist Jaime Maussan unveiled two purported "alien corpses." These small mummified specimens, claimed to be a thousand years old and allegedly retrieved from Cusco, Peru, were displayed for observers.

According to Maussan, these "UFO specimens" underwent study at the Autonomous National University of Mexico. Scientists reportedly used radiocarbon dating to analyze their DNA, with Maussan stating that "30% of the specimens' DNA was unknown." Additionally, experts claimed that one of the bodies contained "eggs inside" and implants made of rare metals like Osmium.

Jaime Maussan, known for his involvement in analyzing mummies discovered in Nazca, Peru, in 2017, suggested that these specimens were not connected to UFO crashes but were found in diatom (algae) mines and later fossilized. However, his previous involvement in a similar case was debunked, with experts concluding that the mummified corpse was that of a child and not an alien.

The elongated skulls often associated with such discoveries were attributed to the ancient practice of artificial cranial deformation, not extraterrestrial origin, by anthropologists.

While UFOs have garnered attention in various contexts, including political debates, the testimony of retired Maj. David Grusch, a former Air Force intelligence officer, before the U.S. Congress also touched on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). Grusch claimed knowledge of a long-standing UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program, although the Pentagon denied his claims. Concerns about UAP sightings by pilots and potential national security implications have prompted increased research in this area.

Grusch suggested that the U.S. government may have been aware of "non-human" activity since the 1930s, adding an intriguing layer to the ongoing discussions surrounding UFOs and UAPs.
