Lebanon Pager Explosion: Tomorrow more than 4000 people are injured, and 11 people died in Lebanon due to thousands of pager blasts. However Pagers were hacked and Chip bombs were put in them. Yesterday Lebanon faced a new kind of attack, suddenly thousands of pagers being used by Hezbollah fighters exploded in many cities of Lebanon and Syria. In which 11 people died and more than 4000 people were injured.
Technology and science behind pager blast?
A per the reports says pagers are simple radio devices. While these can be used through radio frequency. If someone wants to explode such devices, then he will have to use remote triggered explosives. Which is already hidden in the pager. But for this it is necessary that the pagers are tampered in the company itself before reaching the people. Or a weapon is hidden inside the pager.
Attacks can also be done by jamming the frequency
While this blast can be done by hacking or wireless signal control. For this, the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) are used. Though Wireless communication protocols are spoiled now. Or the explosives kept in it are triggered by taking help of the technology of the pager itself.
No pager blasts been carried out anywhere
First incident of its kind in the world. But Israel has affected the production lines of companies before this as well.
