Entrepreneur and well-known motivational speaker Vivek Bindra has found himself at the center of controversy as he faces allegations of assaulting his wife in Noida. The Noida police, confirming the incident on Saturday, stated that they are actively investigating the accusations and will take appropriate action based on the outcome of the probe.

Vivek Bindra, a prominent figure in the motivational speaking circuit, was not immediately available for comment in response to the allegations. The First Information Report (FIR) in this matter was registered at the Sector 126 police station on December 14, following a complaint lodged by Vaibhav Kwatra, the brother of Bindra's wife, Yanika.

According to Kwatra, Bindra and Yanika had tied the knot on December 6 and were residing in a upscale society in Sector 94. The complaint detailed a distressing incident that allegedly occurred on the morning of December 7. Kwatra claimed, "My brother-in-law Vivek Bindra was arguing with his mother Prabha ji. When my sister Yanika intervened, Bindra locked the room with her, verbally abused her, and subjected her to physical assault, resulting in injuries all over her body, hearing impairment, and torn-out hair."

He further asserted, "Due to a head wound, she experienced severe dizziness and is undergoing treatment at Kailash Deepak Hospital in Delhi." Kwatra also accused Bindra of breaking his sister's mobile phone during the altercation and urged the police to take strict action in response to the incident.

A senior police officer revealed that, based on the complaint, an FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 323 (causing hurt), 504 (insult to provoke breach of peace), 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), and 427 (mischief). Assistant Commissioner of Police (Noida) Rajneesh Verma assured, "We have initiated an investigation into the case to ascertain the facts, and necessary action will be taken accordingly."
