BJP third List: Bhartiya Janta Party released third list of candidates, Annamalai secured a ticket
Bhartiya Janta Party on Thursday released third list of candidates for Lok Sabha Elections.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its third roster of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with notable entrants including former Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan vying for the Chennai South constituency. Among others, L. Murugan will stand from Nilgiris, K. Annamalai from Coimbatore, and Pon Radhakrishnan from Kanyakumari.
The BJP's third list comprises contenders for several constituencies, featuring Tamilisai Soundararajan for Chennai South, Vinoj P. Selvam for Chennai Central, A. C. Shanmugam for Vellore, and C. Narasimhan for Krishnagiri. The list also includes names like T.R. Parivendhar for Perambalur and Nainar Nagendran for Thoothukudi.
BJP first and second lists
Prior to this announcement, the party had disclosed 72 candidates, including prominent figures such as Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, and Anurag Singh Thakur, along with former chief ministers Manohar Lal Khattar, Trivendra Singh Rawat, and Basavaraj Bommai.
BJP's national general secretary, Vinod Tawade, had earlier revealed the initial list of candidates, covering constituencies from various states such as Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Kerala, Telangana, Assam, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Tripura, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Daman and Diu.
