Prior to the first debate, Elon Musk and Tucker Carlson endorse Vivek Ramaswamy of the GOP. He represents a threat to Ron DeSantis.

Vivek Ramaswamy, an Indian American running for president, has received support from two well-known figures ahead of the much anticipated first GOP presidential debate set for next week.

Impressed by his geopolitical viewpoints, Tucker referred to him as "one of the best-versed voices in policy" he had ever encountered.

Elon Musk, who uploaded the interview video on his platform and called Ramaswamy "a very promising candidate," agreed with Tucker's points of view. It's interesting that Musk has implicitly endorsed DeSantis after having campaigned for him.
Interestingly, the governor of Florida selected the Twitter Spaces event to declare his campaign for president and spoke alongside Musk despite the launch's technical issues.

People anticipate a thrilling debate between DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy, who have been riding Trump's coattails to gain GOP support before the primary. Trump's attendance at the event is uncertain, so all eyes will be on DeSantis and Ramaswamy.

Since entering the race as a complete unknown and political neophyte, Ramaswamy has shot up the polls. According to national polling averages, Trump enjoys support from roughly 53% of voters, while DeSantis is far behind with 15% and Ramaswamy is in third place with 7%.

Leaked debate preparation materials advise the governor of Florida to use a "sledgehammer" against the oppositional candidate, suggesting that DeSantis saw Ramaswamy as a threat. At the first debate of the campaign on August 23 in Wisconsin, the two will share a stage. Trump won't likely attend.

Ron DeSantis, according to a Bloomberg story, views Ramaswamy as being vulnerable because of his connections to China and desire to sign on to a trans-Pacific trade agreement. According to a dossier compiled by DeSantis' team on his political competitor, Ramaswamy co-founded Sinovant Sciences with a Chinese state-owned enterprise in 2018 and served as the keynote speaker at a conference there. He was also the CEO of Roivant Sciences in 2018.

The documents also criticize Ramaswamy's views on abortion and drug laws and connect him to Democratic benefactor and frequent Republican target George Soros. Over ten years ago, Ramaswamy was awarded a Soros scholarship for new Americans.
