Mamata's challenge to BJP : "I challenge BJP to cross 200 seats" and "No INDIA bloc in W. Bengal"
Mamata's challenge to BJP; Krishnanagar: Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Sunday confidently challenged Bhartiya Janta Party to cross 200 marks in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Chief Minister Mamata said this while addressing a rally in Krishnanagar in West Bengal.
Challenge to cross 200 seats
Political parties all over the country have been campaigning to ask for votes in the upcoming elections. The political environment of West Bengal has been especially hot with TMC, Congress and BJP campaigning to earn the trust of voters and hence seats. With new jonnies in BJP like that of Former Justice of Calcutta High Court, Abhijit Gangopadhyay and controversies like that of Sandeshkhali just before elections combined along with several ED raids on the TMC leaders have particularly stirred up the political environment in the state.
Mamata Banerjee is standing strong not just for her state but for the country as well as she challenged BJP to cross 200 seats in the elections. She said "The BJP is saying "400 paar", I challenge them to cross the 200 seats benchmark first. In 2021 assembly polls, they gave a call of 200 plus seats but had to stop at 77."

CAA will not be implemented in West Bengal
Apart from challenging the saffron camp to win elections, she said that CAA will not be implemented in the state of West Bengal. She called CAA a trap to snatch citizenship from Indian Nationals and that she would not allow such a thing to happen in West Bengal. She said "The CAA is a trap to turn legal citizens into foreigners. We would allow neither CAA nor NRC in West Bengal."
INDIA bloc and TMC not together in Bengal
This time in West Bengal, it is TMC vs Congress vs BJP as Trinamool Congress said that there is no INDIA bloc in West Bengal and also alleged that Congress is working for BJP. Earlier Congress MP Adhir Ranjan also accused Mamata for being on BJP"s side.
While Addressing a rally in of Mahua Moitra she said "There is no INDIA alliance in West Bengal. The CPI(M) and Congress are working for the BJP in Bengal. She further said "Our MP Mahua Moitra was maligned and expelled from the Lok Sabha as she was vocal against the BJP," she added.
