Lok Sabha Elections 2024: PM Modi addressed a BJP rally in Nagarkurnool, Telangana, on March 16, expressing confidence in the NDA 's performance in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. He stated that even before the poll schedule was announced, the people had already decided that the NDA would surpass 400 seats.

Public Support

Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked, "Today I see here that Telangana people have decided they want to bring back Modi for the third time." This shows the support he is receiving from the people.

PM Modi 's focus on Development

During his speech, the Prime Minister questioned the effectiveness of the Congress' slogan 'Garibi Hatao' (Eradicate Poverty) and whether there had been any significant changes in the lives of the poor.

Election Campaign Kickoff

The rally in Nagarkurnool marked the beginning of the election campaign in Telangana, with PM Modi leading a 'Vijay Sankalp' Roadshow in the largest parliamentary constituency, Malkajgiri, adorned with saffron flags and decorations.

PM Modi is scheduled to attend another rally in Jagtial, Telangana, on March 18, as announced by the Telangana BJP.

BJP's Strategy in Telangana

In the 2019 general elections, the BJP won four out of Telangana's 17 Lok Sabha seats. For the upcoming polls, the party has decided to contest independently in Telangana and is optimistic about increasing its seat count.

Election Schedule

The Election Commission is set to announce the schedule for the Lok Sabha polls on Saturday at 3:00 pm, marking the official start of the election process.
