12 killed as van falls into 'poisonous' well in Mandsaur, MP
A tragic accident has been taken place on Sunday afternoon in Kachariya village located in Sanjeet area of Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh. A van slipped off the road and suddenly fell into a well in Narayangarh police station area, in which 11 people were riding. ten people are feared dead in this accident.
Four people in the vehicle swam out and were immediately sent to the hospital. At the same time, a person who had descended into the well to save people also died of suffocation.
It is being told that poisonous gas is also spread in the well, due to which extra caution is being taken in the relief work.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the state's Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda and Collector Aditi Garg reached the spot. At present, the rescue operation is being carried out by the NDRF team and the local administration. There is a possibility of 6 bodies still being trapped in the vehicle that fell into the well.
