3000 people from Tamil Nadu to visit Gujarat for Saurashtra-Tamil Sangamam.
<p>As per a report, over 3,000 people from Tamil Nadu will visit Gujarat for the ten-day cultural exchange programme between April 17–30, 2023. The Saurashtra-Tamil Sangamam is aimed at showcasing the “age-old ties” between the two States.It has been planned by NIT Tiruchirappalli, Saurashtra University (Rajkot), and is being facilitated by the Gujarat government. The delegates will travel by rail for two days from Madurai to Somnath as part of the Saurashtra Tamil Sangamam’s programme, where they will spend two days receiving darshan at the Somnath temple. They will take part in a guided tour of the city’s historical, architectural, and religious sites.

The group will travel by car to Dwarka on the sixth day. On Day 7, the delegates would travel by train from various temples to Vadodara. After that, they would be driven to Ektanagar. The participants will go on a jungle safari, visit the Statue of Unity, and explore the botanical garden and city’s nutrition park.
