40th day of Maha Kumbh 2025, devotees continue to bathe in Sangam
Maha Kumbh 2025: The devotion towards Maha Kumbh and Sangam is still at its peak. People are coming towards Sangam at every step. At the same time, in the month of Falgun also, the number of devotees taking holy dip at Triveni Ghat crossed one crore for the sixth consecutive day. At the same time, the fair administration claims that till now more than 58 crore devotees have bathed in the holy Ganga.

Devotees reaching Triveni Sangam in large numbers for holy bath
During the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, a large number of devotees are reaching Triveni Sangam for holy bath.

Fair will continue till February 26

Halwa made for two lakh people in a 1800 kg kadhai
Kumbhnagari also witnessed a unique record. Ten thousand kg of halwa was made for two lakh people in a 1800 kg and six and a half feet high kadhai in the pandal located in Sector-1. It was recorded as the world's largest kadhai. The halwa prepared in it was distributed among about two lakh devotees.

With the help of more than a dozen workers, access to the kadhai was made by installing a ladder. About 1300 kg of ghee was used to make halwa in the Maha Kadhai.
Number may cross 65 crores
If the arrival of devotees continues in this manner, it is estimated that the number of devotees bathing in Maha Kumbh will cross 65 crores. The last bathing festival of Maha Kumbh, Maha Shivratri, is on February 26. For the last three days, more than 1.25 crore devotees have been coming for bathing. The remaining six days of the fair include Saturday and Sunday holidays.
More than 1.25 crore people are expected to bathe every day in the remaining days.
