AAP rejig after poll debacle: Bhardwaj replaces Gopal in Delhi, Sisodia moved to Punjab

After the defeat of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi Assembly elections, there has been a big change in the party leadership. Former Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia has been appointed in-charge of Punjab. At the same time, Satyendra Jain has been made co-in-charge of Punjab.

Apart from this, Saurabh Bhardwaj has been appointed as the convenor of Delhi AAP, that is, he has been given the command of the party in Delhi. Bhardwaj has replaced Gopal Rai.

Also, Doda MLA Mehraj Malik has been appointed as the Jammu and Kashmir convenor of AAP. New in-charges and co-in-charges have been appointed in Gujarat, Goa, Punjab and Chhattisgarh.

Chhattisgarh: Incharge- Sandeep Pathak

Aam Aadmi Party MPs Raghav Chadha and Sanjay Singh have reached the residence of party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal for the meeting of the party's political affairs committee.

Aatishi will continue to handle the command of Delhi

After AAP's defeat in Delhi, Atishi is being given the main responsibility in the capital. As the leader of the opposition, Atishi will decide the political strategy to counter the BJP-led Delhi government. Atishi will formulate the strategy for the assembly elections and major political attacks on the Delhi government.

She will take the consent of the top leadership in major decisions. However, the organizational work of the Delhi unit, expansion of the party and reshuffle will remain under the state convenor Gopal Rai.
