The film ‘Adipurush,’ an adaptation of the epic
Ramayana directed by Om Raut, has received harsh criticism since its release.
Prabhas plays Lord Ram, Kriti plays Goddess Sita, Sunny Singh plays Laxman, and
Saif Ali Khan plays Ravana in the film.
Numerous critics and reviewers were dissatisfied
with particular film dialogue. ‘Marega Bete,’ ‘Bua Ka Bagicha Hain Kya,’ and
‘Jalegi Tere Baap Ki’ are among the dialogues for which the filmmakers have
drawn criticism.
In response to such criticism, the dialogues in
“Adipurush” were revised.
Manoj had requested protection during the dispute,
citing a threat to his life. The Mumbai Police have furnished him with security
and stated that they are conducting an investigation.
The All India Cine Workers Association also demanded
the filing of a case in opposition to the film’s producer, director, and writer
in a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Mumbai Police.
