Again, many schools in Delhi received bomb threats, police investigating
Many schools in Delhi received bomb threats again on Friday. East of Kailash DPS, Salwan School, Modern School, Cambridge School received bomb blast threats. After receiving the threat, Delhi Fire Brigade and Police teams reached the spot, but nothing suspicious has been found so far.
This is the second bomb threat to schools this week. Earlier on Monday, there were bomb threats in several schools. After this, several schools were evacuated, but the police did not find anything suspicious in the investigation.
When did the threatening emails come?
Earlier on December 9, at least 44 schools in Delhi received similar emails. After a thorough investigation, the police called those threats a rumour. An official of the Delhi Fire Service said, 'We received calls (regarding the threatening email) from Bhatnagar International School in Paschim Vihar at 4:21 am, Cambridge School in Shri Niwas Puri at 6:23 am and DPS in East of Kailash at 6:35 am.'
The police said that the fire department, police and bomb disposal team have reached the schools with dog squads and are investigating. The school administration has sent a message to the parents requesting them not to send their children to school. A police official said that the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
What is written in the threatening email?
The threatening email says, "We are informing you that several explosive materials have been planted in your school premises. We know very well that you do not check the bags of children entering your school." The email further states that the explosives have enough capacity to harm the people around the school as well. "In addition, we have received information that from today to December 14, i.e. tomorrow, on both days, an expected Parents Teacher Meeting (PTM) and a march on Sports Day are also going to take place.
This activity involves a secret dark web group and there are also many red rooms. The bombs are enough to destroy buildings and harm people."

The threat further states, 'On December 13, 2024, and December 14, 2024, there may be bomb blasts in your school on both these days. There is a scheduled teacher-parent meeting on December 14 and there is a great advantage of bomb blasts on this day.
It is a secret whether the bomb blasts will be carried out on December 13 or December 14, but it is certain that the bombs have been planted now.
