Gopal Rai said to the Center - please call a meeting

The Delhi government Minister Gopal Rai said that we are saddened that last year when the emergency came, we had a meeting with the experts of IIT and they said that permission of this department would be needed. Last year there was less time. I sent the first letter on 30 August, the second on 10 October, the third letter on 23 October and after that after a long request, I also said in a virtual meeting with the environment minister and Agriculture Minister that a meeting should be called.

Only solution, is artificial rain

There are only two solutions to this, either the wind should blow so fast or artificial rain and natural rain should occur, only then this blanket of smog can be broken. Whether artificial rain will happen or not or how it will happen will be decided later but they did not even call a meeting. I want to tell the PM that you should intervene. The whole country is troubled by this emergency. Tell your minister to call a meeting. If you cannot call for a solution to the smog, then we need a solution to the smog. Prime Minister should immediately instruct him and take action on this.

Artificial rain will break the smog blanket

Delhi's Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that for the last three days, smog blanket is spread everywhere in North India, be it Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, UP. Due to this, pollution particles PM 10 and PM 2.5 are not dispersing. It is having a bad effect on the health of children and the elderly.

In such a situation, GRAP 4 rules have been implemented in Delhi and NCR. In Delhi, we are trying to put restrictions on vehicles to reduce vehicle pollution. He said that this situation is very dangerous. A passenger standing at the bus stand said that there are a lot of problems due to pollution. There is a lot of difficulty in breathing, burning sensation in the eyes. The government should pay serious attention to this.

Who is most at risk from pollution?

The situation is continuously worsening due to air pollution in the country's capital Delhi. On Tuesday morning, the Air Quality Index (AQI) reached 498.
