Akshaya Tritiya 2025: Akshaya Tritiya is a holy Hindu and Jain festival, which is celebrated on the Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Vaishakh month. It is also called Akha Teej. This day is considered very auspicious and it is believed that any virtuous act done on this day gives "Akshaya" i.e. indestructible fruit. Akshaya Tritiya Puja Vidhi
Waking up in Brahma Muhurta on Akshaya Tritiya is considered auspicious. Take a bath with holy water. If possible, bathing in a holy river is even better. First of all, clean the house and the place of worship on this day. Then spread a yellow or red cloth in a clean place.

Install idols or pictures of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi on it. You can also keep the idol of Lord Ganesha and Kuber. Purify the idols by sprinkling Gangajal on them. Apply sandalwood paste and kumkum tilak to the idols.

Significance of Akshaya Tritiya
The day of Akshaya Tritiya is considered very special in Hinduism, because Lord Parshuram was born on this day. According to the Mahabharata, Lord Krishna gave Akshaya Patra to the Pandavas, due to which they never had a shortage of food. Satyayug and Tretayug are also believed to have started on this day. Donation of water, food, clothes, gold, cow, and land is considered especially virtuous on this day.
