There is great news for the devotees doing Amarnath Yatra. The schedule of the Yatra has been released. This year devotees will be able to visit Baba Barfani from 3 July to 9 August. The total duration for this holy pilgrimage is 38 days. This decision has been taken in the meeting of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board. The registration process for the Yatra will start soon, so that devotees can plan their journey in time.

Schedule of the Yatra has been released

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Amarnath Shrine Board Chairman and Jammu Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha, in which many senior officers including Jammu Kashmir DGP Nalin Prabhat, Chief Secretary Atal Dhullu participated.

In this meeting, the preparations of Amarnath Yatra and its schedule were discussed, after which the date of the Yatra was finalized. In such a situation, now devotees will be able to visit Baba Barfani from 3 July to 9 August.

This time Amarnath Yatra will last for 39 days

Every year Amarnath Yatra used to last from 45 to 60 days. However, this time this period is a little less. Last year in 2024, devotees had darshan of Baba Barfani from 29 June to 19 August, but this time Amarnath Yatra will last only for 38 days. This journey will be completed on the day of Rakshabandhan.

Special arrangements will be made for the devotees by the trust and the government regarding Amarnath Yatra. Special care will be taken of security. Arrangements will be made for their stay. There will also be a facility of langar.

Devotees reach for darshan from every corner of the country

Baba Amarnath Yatra, which starts from Ashadh Purnima, continues till Shravan Purnima. Every year Shiva devotees from every corner of the country have reached for the darshan of Baba Barfani. During this time, there is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees. Last year, registration for Amarnath Yatra started from April 17.

Registrations were taken both online and offline. Similar preparations are being made this time as well. Aadhar card, passport, voter ID or driving license along with passport size photo will be required for registration.
