Ahmedabad: Weather expert Ambalal Patel has forecast unseasonal rain and strong winds across Gujarat, raising concerns among farmers and residents amid sudden weather changes in peak summer.

Ambalal patel prediction: A sudden change in the weather of Gujarat is being seen and a monsoon-like atmosphere has been created in the middle of summer. Both renowned weather expert Ambalal Patel and the state meteorological department have predicted unseasonal rains (Mavtha), due to which the concern of farmers and common citizens has increased greatly. Due to the activation of 3 different systems simultaneously in the state, there is a high possibility of rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds. Due to this unseasonal rain, there is a risk of damage especially to onion and other ready crops, so farmers have been asked to be careful.

According to the forecast of weather expert Ambalal Patel, a large group of clouds is currently moving towards Gujarat from parts of North India. As a result of this, the weather in Banaskantha and surrounding areas has changed. Pre-monsoon activity (pre-monsoon rain) is likely to become active in the state after the afternoon of the 7th. Rains will fall with thunder in some areas and the wind speed may reach 40 km per hour. The wind will be especially strong in Kutch and North Gujarat.

Ambalal Patel has warned farmers, especially those who are cultivating onions, to be careful. The weather will also change and pre-monsoon activity will be seen in parts of Saurashtra and South Gujarat. Some parts of Central Gujarat may receive up to 10 mm of rain and some areas of Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar up to half an inch. There is also a possibility of hail in some places.

On the other hand, the India Meteorological Department has also issued a 'Yellow Alert' in several districts of the state with a forecast of light to moderate rainfall. According to the department, a total of 3 systems are currently active, 1 Western Disturbance and 2 Cyclonic Circulations.

Where will it not rain? Rain is likely in almost all areas of the state except Porbandar, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Daman and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

In which districts is it predicted? Unseasonal rain with thunderstorms and lightning has been predicted in Kutch, Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Bharuch, Narmada, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Morbi and Surendranagar.

Due to this system, winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. There will be cloudy weather in Ahmedabad at present. In view of this bad weather and the possibility of currents in the sea, fishermen have been strictly advised not to venture into the sea today and tomorrow.
