Vivek Ramaswamy Backed Out
Vivek Ramaswamy, on Monday, January 14, announced that he is backing out from the presidential race. Ramaswamy backed out from the race after he faced a loss in the first Republican candidate contest by receiving only 7.7% of vote shares in Iowa caucuses.
Vivek Ramaswamy is a multi-millionaire biotech entrepreneur who gained much attention in the country and worldwide for his straightforward visionary points.
Vivek Ramaswamy has been very confident in himself for securing the White House seat after winning the presidential elections in America. The Indo-American candidate has been vocal about various significant social issues such as the importance of the nuclear family institute, change in the education systems in America, change in the federal institutions, etc.
Ramaswamy and Donald Trump
Vivek Ramaswamy accepted the decision of people to not choose him and then he respectfully delivered his decision to not carry forward his campaign ahead. While suspending his presidential campaign, Vivek Ramaswamy said that he will be supporting former President Donald Trump in his presidential campaign. He said, “We will work to make sure Donald Trump is the next president."
Vivek has supported Trump throughout his campaign and has also supported the policies adopted by Trump during his presidency. Although recently, Vivek was seen drifting away from supporting Trump in the context of legal battles in which the former President is entangled, and those battles make Trump's candidature weak.
On the other side, Trump has also been an admirer of Vivek but has always kept himself more eligible than Vivek. Recently, Trump even called Ramaswamy a "fraud" and "deceitful."
On backing out from the campaign, Vivek said, “Tonight, I have to face the truth. It was hard for me to accept, but we have looked at the facts. And the fact is, we did not get the result we hoped for tonight. That is why I have decided to suspend this presidential campaign.
While talking about former President Trump, Ramaswamy said Trump will have his full support in the campaign. He said, “I called Donald Trump earlier tonight to congratulate him on his win. And from now on, he will have my full backing for the presidency. Tomorrow, I will join Donald Trump at a rally in New Hampshire to share our vision for the country’s future. We will work to make sure Donald Trump is the next president."
