Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also give the green light to the other trains along with the Amrit Bharat train
The Amrit Bharat train will also connect Ramnagari with Sitamarhi, the birthplace of Mother Sita. This train will be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 30 December 2023, not only this, Prime Minister Modi will also flag off eight other new trains.
These trains include Ayodhya-Anand Vihar, New Delhi-Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Amritsar-New Delhi, Jalna-Mumbai and Coimbatore-Bengaluru Vande Bharat trains. Apart from this, Delhi-Darbhanga and Malda-Bengaluru Amrit Bharat trains will also be dispatched with green flag.
Amrit Bharat Train is completely indigenous
As per the information received, Amrit Bharat train with 22 coaches of saffron color is completely indigenous. Providing plane-like features, the train will have engines at both the front and rear. 683 passengers can travel in eight general bogies, 12 sleepers, and two AC coaches. With this, the distance from Ayodhya to Lucknow can be covered in just one and a half hours. Equipped with modern facilities, this train covers a distance of 130 km per hour.
