Anant Seva: On the occasion of the 31st birthday of Anant Ambani, Executive Director of Reliance Industries Limited, various charitable initiatives and activities were undertaken in a humble effort to improve and enrich the lives of approximately 5.7 million people. With the objective of enhancing the lives of millions, charitable donations were extended to religious trusts, educational and healthcare institutions, as well as social welfare organizations. To mark his 31st birthday, 31 distinct charitable initiatives have been announced.

These include the development of infrastructure for pilgrims at major religious sites across Gujarat—including Dwarka, Somnath, Ambaji, and Salangpur—as well as improvements to educational infrastructure in Jamnagar and other locations. The initiatives also encompass the construction of shelters for cows, the distribution of sweets to contract employees working with Reliance, community meals, the distribution of sarees to women in villages surrounding the Jamnagar Refinery, and the provision of essential infrastructure facilities in rural areas.

Anant Ambani holds deep faith in Sanatan Dharma and frequently visits various pilgrimage sites

On the occasion of Anant Ambani birthday, several initiatives dedicated to the pilgrimage sites of Gujarat have been announced. To facilitate pilgrims visiting the abode of Lord Krishna, a multi-story *Yatri Bhavan* (pilgrim accommodation center) will be constructed in Dwarka. Furthermore, state-of-the-art escalators will be installed at the Dwarka Sharda Peeth to alleviate mobility challenges faced by senior citizens and devotees with disabilities. This initiative is expected to benefit over 75,000 pilgrims who visit this holy city annually from various parts of India and the world.

At the sacred pilgrimage site of Ambaji, an entire dedicated floor comprising 17 rooms will be constructed within the upcoming *Yatri Bhavan* (pilgrim accommodation center). Anant Ambani had previously pledged to provide meals for one year to approximately 2.6 million devotees visiting to seek the blessings of Mother Amba. Through this noble initiative, these 2.6 million devotees visiting to seek Mother Amba's blessings will receive meals.

Similarly, at the Somnath Temple—the site of the country's first ‘Jyotirlinga’—arrangements have been made to provide morning and evening *Bhojan Prasad* (sacred food offerings) for a period of one year, an initiative that will benefit 2.6 million pilgrims annually. Currently, approximately 225,000 Vaishnavite devotees annually benefit from the *Bhojan Seva* (food service) provided at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara.

A primary objective behind the celebration of Anant Ambani's birthday is to strengthen various initiatives within the healthcare sector. Approximately 226,000 patients undergoing treatment at the Guru Gobind Singh Hospital in Jamnagar will be provided with meals for one year, strictly in accordance with their doctors' dietary instructions. Concurrently, under 'Project Drishti,' free camps for the screening and treatment of eye ailments have been organized in Jamnagar. Under this project, free eye care treatment has already been provided to over 150,000 people to date.

Furthermore, a multi-specialty health diagnostic camp was organized in Jogwad on April 19, benefiting residents of the surrounding villages.

In the villages of Sikka and Dera Chikari within the Jamnagar district, plans have been formulated to enhance infrastructure facilities within educational institutions and to construct new school buildings. Tracksuits will be distributed to approximately 12,000 students attending government primary schools in the villages surrounding the Jamnagar Refinery and Giratara. Acting on the directives of Anant Ambani, a state-of-the-art community kitchen has been constructed in Jamnagar and handed over to the Akshaya Patra Foundation. Currently, this organization serves daily meals to approximately 22,000 students in the district—totaling 5.5 million meals annually—under the Mid-Day Meal Scheme. Furthermore, a donation provided to enhance the infrastructure of the tribal student hostel at the Goraj Muni Sevashram in Vadodara is set to benefit 700 students residing there.

To assist local villagers in organizing social and religious events, plans are underway to construct community halls in Gagva, Navagam, and Pipli (Jamnagar); Samtapara (Junagadh); and Dhanora (Vadodara).

Financial assistance has been extended to the Sadbhavna Old Age Home in Kheda (Rajkot) and the Mahipat Singh Foundation, initiatives that will benefit 4,000 senior citizens. Regarding rural development, cremation grounds are slated for construction in nine villages across Jamnagar—including Moti Khawadi, Nani Khawadi, Gagva, Navagam, Meghnu Gam, Meghpar, Padana, Jogwad, and Setalus—as well as in Kariya and Mendpara (Junagadh). Additionally, a *Gaushala* (cow shelter) will be established in Setalus (Jamnagar district), alongside the Shri Kashtbhanjandev Hanumanji Temple in Salangpur.

To mark the 31st birthday of Anant Ambani, a series of cultural programs have been planned over a ten-day period. These festivities include folk dance performances held in Jogwad, Moti Khawadi, and Shapar (Jamnagar), as well as in Paswada (near Junagadh). As part of these celebrations, a grand feast was hosted in Jogwad on April 9, 2026, for residents of the surrounding villages. In addition to distributing sweets to 31,000 people across 15 villages surrounding the refinery in Jamnagar, 31,000 sarees are also being distributed to women in the region.

Similarly, sweets will be distributed to 5,000 people in the villages surrounding Giratara. Demonstrating an inclusive approach, over 95,000 contract workers engaged in various ongoing projects at the Jamnagar Complex... Food hampers were distributed to the workers involved, and they, too, were included in this celebration. Thus, approximately 1.75 lakh people will be actively and directly involved in this celebration.
