Another big step by India, closed its airspace for Pakistan
Amidst India's possible military action on the Pahalgam attack, India has closed its airspace for Pakistan. The airspace has been closed from April 30 to May 23. During this time, Pakistani military aircraft including Pakistan registered, operated or leased aircraft will not be allowed to enter this area.

Pakistani airline PIA cancels flights
Before India closed its airspace, Pakistani media had reported that Pakistan's national airline PIA has canceled its flights to Gilgit, Skardu and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
One of the Pakistan media reported that PIA has canceled two flights each from Karachi and Lahore to Skardu. Till now total of six flights from Islamabad to Skardu and Gilgit have also been canceled. Pakistan has also tightened the monitoring of its airspace.
Commercial flights also canceled
According to a news agency, all commercial flights have been canceled due to security concerns. Officials have said that all these steps have been taken as a precaution and to ensure national airspace security during regional tensions. Apart from these, Pakistan authorities have put all airports on high alert
