Asia Cup 2025: BCCI to pull out of Asia Cup, decides to isolate Pakistan cricket
The current tension may affect the cricket relations between the two countries. Sources told India Today that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) verbally informed the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) that it is pulling out of the upcoming Men's Asia Cup 2025 and will not host it.
The last edition of the Asia Cup was played in 2023 under the 'hybrid model' before the ODI World Cup.
BCCI to pull out of Asia Cup

Pakistan will now be isolated in cricket too
At present, the President of the Asian Cricket Council is Pakistan's Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who is also the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Through this step, the BCCI is trying to isolate Pakistan in cricket as well. Anyway, the terrorist country Pakistan is losing to India on every front.
BCCI took a big decision on Asia Cup
If India does not participate in the Asia Cup, then it is impossible to organise this tournament because most of the sponsors of international matches are from India. Broadcasters make huge profits through India-Pakistan matches, so if India withdraws from the tournament, the broadcasters will also withdraw.
Let us tell you that last year the rights of the Asia Cup were acquired by Sony Pictures Networks India for US $ 170 million, which is for eight years. If Asia Cup 2025 is not organised, then this deal will have to be worked upon again.

The ACC has five full members, which include India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. These five countries get 15-15 percent of the earnings through broadcast, while the rest of the amount is divided among associates and affiliated companies.
