Most exit polls in Madhya Pradesh indicated that the BJP had a clear advantage because they expected the Congress to struggle in the state's elections, where they expected to benefit from "anti-incumbency" sentiment against the government.

For a long time, the BJP ruled the state

The BJP, which has controlled the state for nearly eighteen of the last twenty years, was expected to win a sizable majority in the exit polls. One exit poll placed the Congress in the lead, while another indicated that the two parties were about equal.

Madhya Pradesh's 230 seats were up for election on November 17. The results of that state's election, as well as those of four other states, will be tallied on December 3.

Till now BJP is leading the game in Madhya Pradesh

The India Today-Axis My India prediction states that the BJP will win 140–162 seats and 47% of the vote to maintain its hold on power in Madhya Pradesh. With a 41% vote share, it predicted that Congress would gain 60–90 seats. Others are predicted to receive 0–3 seats and 12% of the vote.

The India TV-CNX poll predicts that the BJP will receive 48% of the vote, the Congress 38%, and the other 16%.

According to the poll, the Congress would get 70–89 seats, the BJP 140–159 seats, and other parties 0–2.

The Times Now-ETG reported the Congress 42.23% of the vote, the BJP 43.83%, and the other parties 13.94%.

According to the report, the state's ruling party is expected to win 105–117 seats, 109–125 seats in Congress, and additional 1–5 seats.
