Aurangzeb not relevant in today's time says RSS leader, condemns Nagpur violence
Nagpur Violence: The controversy that started in Maharashtra over Aurangzeb's grave is not taking the name of stopping. After the debate started over the grave, violence broke out in Nagpur and a ruckus was created. After the case, ATS has also started investigation. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has given a big statement regarding this controversy.
Sunil Ambekar condemned the Nagpur violence and said that any kind of violence is harmful to the health of the society.

Apart from this, he said that any kind of violence is not good for the health of the society. Also said that I think the police has taken cognizance of the incident and will look into the details. When asked about the relevance of the longest-ruling Mughal emperor, Ambekar dismissed the question, saying, "I think Aurangzeb is not relevant today."
His reaction came days after violent clashes broke out between two groups in Khultabad over the demand to remove the tomb of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
Violence erupted in Nagpur
Curfew has been imposed in several areas under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS) following the violence. According to media reports, the situation escalated in several areas of the city amid rumours that a holy book of the Muslim community was burnt during the agitation by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal at Shivaji Putla Square in Mahal Gate.

Effigies of Aurangzeb and a religious chaadar were also reportedly burnt during the protest. This led to retaliation from the other community, in which around 1,000 people indulged in large-scale stone pelting, vandalism and arson, injuring several police personnel and damaging several vehicles and houses.
