Ayodhya junction renamed to 'Ayodhya Dham' junction: chief priest expresses joy
In a recent development, the Ayodhya Railway Station has been officially renamed 'Ayodhya Dham' Junction, a decision that has sparked joy among the local community, particularly the priests associated with the Ram Janmabhoomi temple.
Chief Priest Hails the Decision
Acharya Satyendar Das, Chief Priest of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, expressed his happiness over the decision to rename Ayodhya Junction. He commended the move by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, stating, "It is a very good move by CM Yogi Adityanath. This demand has been going on for a very long time, and today we all are very happy that now it will be called Ayodhya Dham. Thanks to our Chief Minister."
Ayodhya Dham Junction Inauguration
The renamed Ayodhya Dham Junction is set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30. City MP Lallu Singh shared the news, emphasizing that the renaming aligns with the expectations of public sentiments.
"Ayodhya Junction became Ayodhya Dham Junction under the guidance of Honorable Prime Minister of India Shri @narendramodi ji," Singh announced on social media.
Prime Minister Modi's Upcoming Visit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the grand railway station and airport in Ayodhya on December 30. Additionally, he will oversee the preparations for the grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir on January 22, 2024.
Modern Facilities at Ayodhya Railway Station
The revamped Ayodhya railway station boasts modern amenities such as lifts, a tourist information center, and medical facilities. The station features refurbished platforms, new signboards, escalators, and murals of Lord Ram painted on walls. The architecture resembles that of a grand temple, both on the exterior and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities on the interior.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is actively reviewing the preparations for the inaugural ceremonies of both the Ayodhya Ram temple and the Ayodhya Dham Junction.
