‘Backstabbers’… Yograj Singh’s explosive statement on Yuvraj-Kohli friendship

Yograj Singh’s Explosive Statement:  The series of controversial statements by Team India’s former star all-rounder Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh continues. Yograj, who often targets veterans like former captain MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev, has now attacked Virat Kohli. Former Indian fast bowler Yograj, while talking about his son Yuvraj’s friends in an interview, said that everyone was afraid of him because he was the most talented.

Not only this, he called all Yuvraj’s teammates including Kohli-Dhoni as backstabbers.

In an interview given on a YouTube channel, Yograj Singh was asked whether Virat Kohli could have done something for Yuvraj as a captain? When Virat Kohli became the captain of theT20 team after Dhoni in 2017, Yuvraj Singh got only a few opportunities to play match and then he was out of the Indian team after the Champions Trophy the same year.

All this happened at a time when there were talks of a deep friendship between Yuvraj and Kohli.

No friendship between Kohli and Yuvraj

But Yograj believes that Kohli was also not a friend of his son. In the interview, the former Indian pacer, on the question of Yuvraj-Kohli's friendship and the tension in it, said, "There are no friends on the steps of success, you are alone. In this life where there is money and success, there are no friends. I told this to Yuvraj. Pick out one friend and give it to me."

Yograj Singh told that in all these years in the Indian cricket team, Yuvraj Singh had only one friend and that was great Sachin Tendulkar. Yuvraj's father said, "The only friend of Yuvraj who likes him is the greatest player and great human being Sachin Tendulkar, who considered Yuvraj as his brother. He is the only person who wants to see everyone successful."

'Everyone is a backstabber'

Along with accusing everyone of being afraid of Yuvraj Singh's talent, Yograj called everyone a cheat. He further said, "There are no friends on the ladder of success, money and fame. There are always backstabbers. There are always people who want to show you down. Everyone was afraid of Yuvraj because he might snatch my chair because he was such a great player, who was created by God. He was one of the great players, everyone was afraid of him, all the other players including Dhoni were afraid
