Bageshwar Baba Padyatra: The 'Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra' of Peethadheeshwar Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri (Bageshwar Baba) of Bageshwar Dham has entered its sixth day. This 9-day long yatra is proceeding from Mauranipur in Uttar Pradesh. Near Ramvan Hotel, someone from the crowd threw a mobile at Dhirendra Shastri. 80 km journey of the Padyatra completed

The Padyatra which started with Hanuman Chalisa, National Anthem and chanting of mantras has so far covered a distance of 80 km. On Tuesday, the yatra will cover a distance of 17 km and reach Ghugsi village of Jhansi, where there will be a night halt. Famous wrestler The Great Khali also participated in the yatra. A sadhu jokingly asked him to lift his braid, which Khali did with ease.

Message of 100 crore Hindus

Dhirendra Shastri said that this yatra is an effort to make 100 crore Hindus aware. He warned that if the problems of casteism, untouchability and discrimination are not solved, then in the coming 10-20 years the country can fall into a state of civil war. He says that this padayatra is a means to save the country from these evils that are breaking it.

Sanjay Dutt gets emotional

On Monday, actor Sanjay Dutt also joined this padayatra. He participated in the yatra carrying the flag for 2 km and addressed Dhirendra Shastri as Guruji. Sanjay Dutt said, Guruji is like my younger brother. The work he is doing is great. I will always stand with him. If Guruji says, 'Sanju Baba, come with me upstairs,' then I am also ready to come.

Dhirendra Shastri's aim

Meanwhile aim of the padyatra is to promote Hindu unity and eliminate the social evils of the country. Dhirendra Shastri says that casteism and discrimination are weakening the country, and it is extremely important to work on these issues. Lakhs of people are participating in this yatra, and it is an effort to spread awareness about Sanatan Dharma.
