Bangladesh's Interim Chief Muhammad Yunus Planning To Resign: Report

According to BBC Bangla report, it is becoming increasingly difficult for Muhammad Yunus to work effectively in Bangladesh. Consensus is not being formed among political parties. Yunus is reportedly thinking of resigning due to growing frustration over the political deadlock. However, in recent times there have been reports of a rift between Muhammad Yunus and the head of the Bangladesh Army. In such a situation, Yunus' resignation can be a big step.

How was it revealed?
Bangladesh National Citizen Party leader Nid Islam has revealed that Muhammad Yunus is thinking of resigning. Nid Islam also met Muhammad Yunus and said- "We are hearing about his resignation. So I went to meet him to discuss the issue. He (Muhammad Yunus) told me that he is thinking about it. He feels that the current situation is such that he cannot continue to work.
