Indian team refused to accept the trophy from Mohsin Naqvi
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has now sent an official email to ACC chief Mohsin Naqvi, requesting that the trophy be handed over to the winning team as soon as possible. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia told India Today, "We have written to the ACC requesting that the trophy be awarded to the champion team. We are awaiting their response. If the response is not received or negative, we will write to the ICC. We are moving forward step by step and will continue to do so."
