Prime Minister Narendra Modi greets the gathering and bows before them at the swearing-in ceremony of Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel and his cabinet ministers in Gandhinagar.
This comes after Bharatiya Janta Party won the election against Indian national Congress and Aam Admi party, and the party finally decided to choose Bhupedra Patel as the CM oft the state once again. BJP leader Bhupendra Patel was sworn in as the Chief Minister for the first time on September 13 last year. The swearing-in ceremony was held at Gandhinagar in Gujarat. The oath-taking ceremony was attended by prominent BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
The BJP registered a record-smashing victory in the Gujarat Assembly elections, bagging 156 seats of the state’s 182 assembly seats — a record in its own right. The previous record was for 149 seats in 1985 when the Indian National Congress under Madhav Singh Solanki won the Assembly.
