Big move before Delhi elections, former MLA Anil Jha joins AAP, said Kejriwal has done many things for Purvanchal
Though political activity has intensified in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) before the Delhi Assembly elections. The party has played a big bet and included BJP leader and two-time MLA from Kiradi, Anil Jha, in its camp. Meanwhile, the resignation of Minister Kailash Gehlot and speculation of Rituraj Jha's ticket being cut have also heated up political discussions.
Former BJP MLA joined Aam Aadmi Party
On Anil Jha joining AAP, Kejriwal said that I welcome him wholeheartedly. I believe that with his arrival, Aam Aadmi Party will become stronger in entire Delhi. On joining AAP, Anil Jha said that it is my good fortune, and I salute Arvind Kejriwal. I salute him with folded hands for the social justice that he has woven in Delhi for the people of Purvanchal, backward and Dalits.
Kejriwal statement on Anil Jha joining the party
Ex CM of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal said that if we talk about Purvanchal, Anil Jha is one of the biggest leaders there. He did a lot of work for the people of Purvanchal society. Whether he was in power or not. When our brothers and sisters in UP and Bihar do not get good education and employment, they come to Delhi.
But due to poverty, they are not able to buy houses in the existing colonies. This is the reason why many slum colonies came up in Delhi. Most of the people from Purvanchal live in these colonies, where the situation was very bad before our government.
Development done in Delhi's slum colonies
There are many slum colonies in Delhi, where people from Purvanchal society also live. There was no drainage, no drinking water, no hospital, no school, no development in these slum colonies of Delhi. Kejriwal said that when I became the CM, the officers said in the meeting that development cannot happen here. After removing all those obstacles, development started for the first time in 2015. We started roads, lights, mohalla clinics, sewer, and water pipelines. Drinking water was provided to about 1650 colonies. Roads were built in all the slums.
Who is Anil Jha
Anil Jha, who started his political innings with BJP, praised the policies of AAP Party and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the press conference. He said that the Kejriwal government has done commendable work for Dalits, backward classes, Mahadalits and especially the people of Purvanchal in Delhi. Anil Jha said about his political journey, "I came to Delhi from Madhubani to study, and my dream was that the people of Purvanchal should get better opportunities.
AAP has done good works for Purvanchal
AAP has done excellent work in this direction." On the question of leaving BJP, he said that he had hoped that his old party would take steps for social justice and development of Purvanchal, but this did not happen. He said, "Better late than never. I thank the Kejriwal government, which did better work for the people of Purvanchal." This change in the political equations of Delhi is being considered important, especially when the assembly elections are near.. When the DDA failed to build houses for the poor, illegal colonies were built and a large number of people from Purvanchal live in them.
