Bihar Election Result 2025: Counting for the Bihar Assembly elections has begun. The fate of candidates in all 243 seats across 38 districts of the state will be decided today. Voting for the 243 assembly seats took place in two phases (November 6 and 11). Bihar witnessed a massive voter turnout, breaking all records since independence. This time, 67.13 percent of voters in the state exercised their franchise, the highest ever.

NDA leads in 29 seats in Bihar
Which major parties are contesting the Bihar 2025 elections? The contest in Bihar's electoral arena is between the NDA and the Grand Alliance. The NDA includes the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (United) or JD(U), Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), and the Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM).
