Bihar Elections: JDU in turmoil, MLAs stage protest, MP offers resignation.
Bihar Elections: JDU has suffered a major setback amid the uproar over seat-sharing in Bihar. Party MP Ajay Mandal has offered to resign. Ajay, the MP from Bhagalpur, has told CM Nitish Kumar that his opinion was not consulted in the ticket distribution.
Ajay Mandal has written a letter to Nitish Kumar, stating that his opinion was not consulted in the ticket distribution, making him untenable to continue as an MP and offering to resign.
Nitish Kumar's party, JDU, has 12 MPs, and the central government rests on the shoulders of Nitish's MPs. In such a situation, the JDU MP's displeasure and resignation offer just before the elections are being seen as a sign of a major political upheaval.
Unrest within JDU
Meanwhile, Rinku Kushwaha, wife of the late former MLA Satyadev Singh, is also angry over the ticket given to Pappu Verma, the JDU's likely candidate from Kurtha. She has staged a sit-in protest outside Nitish Kumar's residence.
The ticket is being opposed, and a video of him has been released, in which he calls Nitish Kumar "a liar." Gopal Mandal has also staged a sit-in protest outside CM Nitish Kumar's residence. Gopal Mandal is currently a sitting JDU MLA.
Former Minister Resigns
Earlier on Monday, former minister Jaikumar Singh made a serious allegation. He said that tickets are being sold in the JDU, which is why he is upset, and that is why he has resigned from the party. Jaikumar Singh asked who are those who are close to Nitish Kumar.
Today, tickets are being denied to those close to Nitish Kumar. So that if they want to break away from the party, it will be easier for them. If we stay together, we will not allow this to happen, that is why tickets are being cut from people like us.

There is a deadlock over four seats in the NDA. Tarapur, Sonbarsa, Rajgir, and Morwa are the constituencies of Samrat Chaudhary, the BJP's most prominent face in Bihar.
Summary
The BJP has already prepared to field Samrat from here. Now, after Nitish's objection, Kumhrar in Patna or Patna Sahib are being considered as a Plan B for Samrat. Nitish wants the three seats given to Chirag Paswan back, which include Sonbarsa, Rajgir, and Morwa. Ratnesh Sada, a minister in the Nitish government, is the JDU candidate from Sonbarsa.
