Bihar Elections: Tejashwi Yadav as CM face of the Grand Alliance, Ashok Gehlot announced

Bihar Elections: RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav will be the CM face of the Grand Alliance for the Bihar elections. Congress leader Ashok Gehlot announced this at a joint press conference. Mukesh Sahni will be the Deputy Chief Minister. He said, "Our leader is Tejashwi Yadav. The NDA should tell who their CM face will be. Simply saying we will contest the elections under Nitish Kumar's leadership will not suffice."

Grand Alliance chooses Tejashwi Yadav as CM face

Gehlot said that more Deputy Chief Ministers will be appointed, all from backward communities. Boards and posters with Tejashwi Yadav's photo were put up at Hotel Maurya. No photos of any leader from the Congress or other parties were on the posters. This has sparked controversy.

The BJP said that Congress has lost its respect. Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal said, "There is discord within the Grand Alliance. No matter how much they try to convince the public that they are united, the public has understood that a party that cannot divide seats will not be able to run the government.

" Meanwhile, Congress leader Pawan Khera said, "Let the opposition say whatever they want, but there was never any conflict between us (the Grand Alliance). Tejashwi's picture alone in the poster is not an issue. Does this issue matter to the youth of Bihar?"

Tejashwi Yadav said, "We have to work to build Bihar

Tejashwi Yadav said, "We have many Grand Alliance allies present among us, including senior Congress leaders Ashok Gehlot, Dipankar Chaudhary, Abdul Bari Siddiqui, Mukesh Sahni, Krishna Lavru. You were waiting more than us to see who would be the CM face of the Grand Alliance. We have to work to build Bihar, that's why we have come together."

Ashok Gehlot said, “situation in the country is serious"

Bihar Congress in-charge Ashok Gehlot said, "The situation in the country is serious. People are worried. No one knows which direction the country will go. It is our responsibility to decide where the country will go. The entire country is watching the Bihar elections."

Be it unemployment or many other issues, as all colleagues mentioned, students, youth, and farmers, the concern is about employment. People want change. Gehlot said, "We face a huge challenge.
