Blasts near 2-night clubs in Chandigarh, Punjab, bike riders threw desi bombs

Chandigarh Night Clubs Blast: There is news of an explosion outside two-night clubs in Chandigarh on Tuesday morning. According to initial reports, unknown bikers carried out these blasts by throwing country-made bombs. The incidents took place between 2:30 and 2:45 am.

However, no one is reported to be injured in this incident. Police and forensic teams have reached the spot and started investigation. Security has been increased in the area and the search for suspects is on.

It is being said that two unidentified bike riders threw suspected explosives at a night club located in Sector 26.

The police are investigating the motives behind the incident. It is not clear whether it is part of any organized crime or the result of personal enmity. Nearby CCTV footage is being scanned.

Blasts done with the intention of spreading terror

According to Chandigarh Police sources, an attempt was made to make desi bombs outside the night clubs of Chandigarh by using potash used in firecrackers. Some jute ropes have also been recovered from the spot. The night clubs were closed at the time of the blast. In such a situation, it is believed that these blasts were done only with the intention of spreading terror.

Sources say that in the initial investigation, there is a possibility of extortion angle behind these blasts by spreading terror among the owners of night clubs. Chandigarh Police is investigating the case with the help of forensic teams.

Extortion motive suspected
