BPSC 70th prelims Exam Result: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the results of the 70th Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination (BPSC 70th Prelims Result). The advertisement for the examination was released in September 2024 and 4,83,000 candidates applied for it. It was conducted on 13 December 2024 between 12 noon to 2 pm, in which the candidates had to answer 150 questions of general knowledge. After this there was a ruckus about the examination. From the day of the examination, the candidates were demanding to cancel it and conduct it again, alleging irregularities in the examination.

The candidates had alleged that the students got the paper late at Bapu Exam Center in Patna and the seal of the paper was already open. On the day of the exam, the angry candidates went to another exam room and threw away the sheets and papers of the candidates, which was also confirmed in the CCTV cameras installed in the exam room. After this, a long protest took place. After this, the Commission (BPSC) after investigation canceled the exam of only Bapu Exam Center and conducted it again on January 4.

How many recruitments will be there?

The exam was conducted for 2,031 posts, which included 200 SDM, 136 DSP and other gazetted officer posts, making it the biggest recruitment process in the last few years. Now the commission is also preparing for the main exam of the exam.
