CEAT Cricket Awards: The 27th edition of the CEAT Cricket Rating (CCR) Awards took place in Mumbai on Tuesday (October 7), honoring cricketers and sports leaders from around the world. Former India captain Rohit Sharma was the center of attention on this occasion.
The list of CEAT Cricket Awards winners includes several notable names.

The 38-year-old Rohit also received a special award for leading India to the Champions Trophy. It's worth noting that this victory marked India's second consecutive ICC trophy under Rohit's leadership.
Previously, India won the T20 World Cup in Barbados in June 2024. Rohit was presented the award by the legendary Sunil Gavaskar.

27th edition of the CEAT Cricket Rating
This was Rohit Sharma's first public appearance since being removed as India's ODI captain. Gill's first assignment begins on October 19th, where he will lead the team in a three-match ODI series in Australia. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been included in the Indian team for the series, which is their first series in international cricket since winning the Champions Trophy.

Sanju Samson won the Men's T20I Batter of the Year award, beating Asia Cup stars Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Varma, while Varun Chakravarthy was named Men's T20I Bowler of the Year. Among women, India swept all the awards, with Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma leading the way, although they were not present at the ceremony as the Indian team is busy with the Women's World Cup 2025 campaign.
