Exit polls on Thursday projected a clear advantage for the Congress in Chhattisgarh, indicating that the incumbent party is likely to secure a return to power. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is anticipated to mount a strong contest, a departure from the 2018 polls.

ABP C-Voter's predictions suggest that Congress is poised to win 41-53 seats in the 90-member assembly. The BJP is expected to secure 36-48 seats, with others projected to garner 0-4 seats. Meanwhile, the India Today-Axis My India poll forecasts Congress obtaining 40-50 seats, BJP securing 36-46 seats, and others managing 1-5 seats.

Republic TV's exit poll indicates Congress winning 44-52 seats, BJP securing 34-42 seats, and 0-2 seats for others. The India TV-CNX poll projects 46-56 seats for Congress, 30-40 seats for BJP, and 3-5 seats for others. Jan Ki Baat's exit poll estimates Congress and BJP winning 42-53 and 34-45 seats, respectively, with 0-3 seats for others.

According to the P-Marq poll, Congress is predicted to win 46-54 seats with 44.6% of the vote, BJP securing 35-42 seats with 42.9% of the vote, and others expected to get 0-2 seats with 12.5% of the votes.

Today's Chanakya predicts Congress securing 57-66 seats, BJP getting 33-42 seats, and others obtaining 0-3 seats in Chhattisgarh.

Chhattisgarh went to the polls in two phases on November 7 and 17, and the results, along with those from the other four states, will be revealed on December 3.

In the 2018 elections, Congress won 68 seats, while BJP secured 15 seats. Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (J) and the Bahujan Samaj Party won five and two seats, respectively.
