Citizens of multiple countries killed in Israel-Gaza war
Although a war is fought between soldiers of a country, the cost is incurred by even civilians. In the case of Israel, Gaza war, soldiers, journalists, civilians on both sides have been killed and severely injured. Apart from these, this war has seen the blood of even foreign nationals. As a moment of relief to India, No Indian causalities have been reported till now although an Indian Women was reported to be injured.
Below is the list of countries whose national have been deceased and injured.
Nepal
India's neighboring country Nepal has faced several causalities in the the war. Embassy of Nepal in Tel Aviv said 10 Nepali Citizens were killed in the Kibutz Alumim. This was one of the location attacked by Militants of Hamas. Apart from this, 4 Nepali citizens were getting treated in the hospital. Another Nepali citizen was missing.
France
According to the government of France, two French people were killed and another 14 were reported as missing. Amoung these was a 12 year old teenage. The statement read “Based on the information we have, we consider it highly likely that some of them have been abducted,” the French foreign ministry said in a statement, adding that “this number is still subject to change”.
Thailand
According to deputy minister of foreign affairs of Thailand Jakkapong Sangmanee, 18 Thai nationals are killed in the ongoing war. Apart from these 11 citizens of Thailand are taken into captivity. The number of injured is said to be 11. The government of Thailand is working on evacuating these nationals from the war torn area. According to media reports a large number of Thai Nations areas tuck in the country. around 30,000 Thai nationals work in Israel. Among these 3000 people have put up there requests to return to Thailand. Most of the Thai nationals that work in Israel work in the sector of Agriculture.
United States of America
The United States of America has confirmed that the country has lost 11 of its nationals and that Hamas has most likely held American national as hostages. President Joe Bien said “Sadly, we now know that at least 11 American citizens were among those killed – many of whom made a second home in Israel.”
Argentina: Seven Argentinians lost their lives in the Israeli conflict, while another 15 remain unaccounted for. Additionally, approximately 625 Argentinian nationals in Israel have sought assistance for repatriation.
Austria: Three Austrian-Israeli dual citizens may be among the victims of abduction, as Austria's Foreign Ministry reports. The ministry is yet to receive official confirmation of their status.
Brazil: Three dual Brazilian-Israeli nationals are missing after attending a music festival in the region.
Cambodia: Tragically, one Cambodian student lost their life in the midst of the conflict.
Canada: The Canadian government has confirmed the death of one Canadian national and the disappearance of three others.
Chile: Two Chilean nationals living near the Israeli-Gaza border, who were a part of a kibbutz community, are currently unaccounted for.
Colombia: Two Colombians who attended the Supernova festival in Israel are among the missing, and efforts are underway to locate them.
Germany: Reports suggest that several dual German-Israeli nationals have been taken hostage.
Ireland: An Irish-Israeli woman has been reported as missing by the Irish government.
Italy: Two Israeli-Italians are missing, and authorities have been unable to establish contact with them.
Mexico: Mexico's Foreign Minister revealed on social media that a Mexican man and woman have been taken hostage, although specific details are scarce.
Panama: Daryelis Denises Saez Batista, a Panamanian national, is reported as missing amidst the turmoil.
Paraguay: Two Paraguayan nationals, who had previously resided in Israel, are currently unaccounted for, though no further information has been provided.
Peru: Two Peruvian nationals have gone missing in Israel, though details surrounding their disappearance are limited.
Philippines: A staggering seven Philippine nationals are missing, and efforts to contact them through various means have proven unsuccessful. A travel advisory recommending the suspension of all travel between the Philippines and Israel has been issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Russia: Tragedy has struck the Russian community, with at least one Russian citizen losing their life and four others reported as missing.
Tanzania: The ambassador to Israel confirmed that two Tanzanian nationals are among those missing.
Ukraine: Two Ukrainian women, who had been residing in Israel for an extended period, lost their lives in the conflict.
United Kingdom: A UK national, Nathaniel Young, aged 20, tragically lost his life while serving in the Israeli army. Additionally, a 26-year-old UK national is reported as missing.
