Cloudburst in Himachal's Shimla, floods occurred: Rivers in spate in UP, 360 houses collapsed
Cloudburst In Himachal: Heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh for 2 days have disrupted life. A cloud burst in Shimla district at 10:15 pm on Wednesday night. Due to which Nogali drain was flooded.
A landslide has caused cracks on the flyover of Chandigarh-Manali four lane in Mandi on Wednesday. 533 roads including Mandi-Manali, Chandigarh-Shimla four lane have been closed in the state.

While rivers are in spate due to continuous rain in Uttar Pradesh. 1,245 villages in 24 districts including Prayagraj, Varanasi are in the grip of floods. So far 360 houses have collapsed due to rain. In the last 2 days, 16 people have died in flood and rain related accidents.
Continuous rain in Uttar Pradesh
On Wednesday, a house got submerged in the Ganga river in 10 seconds in Pankhian village of Farrukhabad on Wednesday. Life line river Lakhimpur Kheri of Uttar Pradesh Sharda river is in spate too. The water level of Saryu river in Ayodhya has reached 2 cm above the danger level.
There is a threat of flood in 48 villages
Meanwhile, Ganga and Son rivers are in spate in Bihar. Many villages of the state are submerged. Ganga has reached close to the danger mark in Patna. Ganga water has reached 2 feet on the service lane in Bhadraghat and Mahavir Ghat in Patna City.
IMD issues orange alert for rain in 12 states including Bihar-Jharkhand
The Meteorological Department on Thursday issued an orange alert for rain in 12 states including Bihar-Jharkhand and a yellow alert in 11 states including Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. There is no red alert in any state.
