Delhi CM Oath Ceremony: The swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Minister of Delhi will be held on February 20 at 4:30 pm. The new CM will take oath at Ramlila Maidan along with cabinet members. Preparations have started for this at Ramlila Maidan.

BJP will hold a meeting this evening regarding the oath taking and government formation. The time and date for the meeting of the Legislature Party will be decided in the meeting. In-charge of the oath taking ceremony Vinod Tawde and Tarun Chugh will be present in the meeting.

BJP Legislature Party meeting will be held on February 19 to elect the Chief Minister in Delhi. A day after this meeting, the new Chief Minister will take oath on February 20.

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva and Delhi BJP organization officials will also be present. Preparations for the oath taking ceremony, seating arrangement and guest list will be finalized in this meeting.

BJP has achieved a big victory in the assembly elections held on February 5. The party has come to power in the national capital after 27 years.

Who all are in the race for the post of CM?

The race for the post of Chief Minister includes Pravesh Verma, former president of BJP's Delhi unit Vijendra Gupta and Satish Upadhyay. Along with this, Pawan Sharma, Ashish Sood, Rekha Gupta and Shikha Rai, among others, are also being seen as contenders for the post of Chief Minister. Pravesh Verma has defeated AAP's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi seat in the assembly elections. He comes from the Jat community.

However, many leaders in the BJP believe that like Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Chhattisgarh, the BJP leadership can bet on one of the newly elected MLAs.

Acting CM of Delhi, Atishi say

Today, acting CM Atishi said, "Ten days have passed since the results of the Delhi elections came. The people of Delhi had hoped that the swearing-in would take place on February 10 and then their work would begin, but the public kept waiting. This has proved that BJP does not have a single CM face to run the government of Delhi."
