Delhi Assembly Session Begins Today: After the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Delhi, the assembly session is going to start from today. All the 70 newly elected MLAs who won the Delhi Assembly elections will take oath as members in the first session of the Delhi Assembly starting from February 24. This session will start from February 24 and will continue till February 27.

BJP has made Arvinder Singh Lovely, MLA from Gandhinagar seat, the Protem Speaker. After the oath taking, the election for the post of Speaker of the Delhi Assembly will be held. This time BJP will make Vijender Gupta the Speaker, while Mohan Singh Bisht can be made the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
