Delhi Blast: A blast occurred in a car parked near the Red Fort in the capital, Delhi. Eight people have been reported dead. The Delhi Fire Department reported that an explosion in a car was reported near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, which subsequently caused fire and damage to three or four other vehicles. A special team from the Delhi Police has also arrived to investigate.

The Red Fort is closed on Mondays, but the metro station is open every day, meaning it remains open for passenger convenience even on Mondays.
