Delhi High Court's advice to Kejriwal amid Delhi elections, you did not do it right
Delhi Election 2025: Before the assembly elections in the capital, Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party have suffered a major setback. Delhi High Court has strongly cornered the Delhi government and Aam Aadmi Party over the leaked media report regarding the expenditure on renovation in CM House. It was the responsibility of the Delhi government to present this report in the assembly, but the Aam Aadmi Party government did not do so.
This is the reason why the High Court expressed displeasure over this attitude of the government. The court will hear the petition filed by senior BJP leaders in detail today at 2.30 pm.
Today High Court was hearing the petition of senior BJP leaders. An appeal was made to the court that the CAG report regarding the renovation of the house of former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal should be made public.
HC judge said- you did not do it right
Delhi High Court expressed displeasure over the delay of Delhi government in presenting the CAG report in the assembly. The Delhi High Court told the government that the way you are procrastinating is unfortunate. You should have been prompt in sending the CAG report to the Assembly Speaker and discussing it in the Assembly. However, the court has fixed 2:30 pm for hearing the petition filed by BJP MLAs including Vijender Gupta. The BJP had demanded that the Speaker of the Delhi Assembly be asked to call a special session of the House so that the CAG report could be presented. The High Court said that we are in such a stage that the elections are near. How can a special session be held now?
