Delhi Rains: Massive Tree Uprooted, Crushes Biker To Death In Kalkaji
Delhi Rains: Continuous rain in Delhi-NCR areas has disrupted the lives of people. Meanwhile, a massive tree fell on a bike rider in Kalkaji area of Delhi. In this accident, the father and daughter on the bike were injured. The weather of the state became pleasant due to torrential rain since Thursday morning. However, the trouble of people going out increased. Due to heavy rain, waterlogging occurred in many areas due to which there was a jam at many places.
Delhi-NCR heavy rain
Heavy rain was seen in areas including Connaught Place, Mandi House, Feroze Shah Road, India Gate, Lajpat Nagar, Dwarka, RK Puram, Lodhi Road and Rohini as well as Delhi-Haryana border. Yamuna river is flowing close to the danger mark in Delhi. The Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms and lightning along with heavy rains in the country's capital in the next two to three hours.
Delhi people life troubled due to water logging
After the rain, the pictures coming from different areas of Delhi are disturbing. From Rajghat to Ramlila Maidan and from Ring Road to RK Puram, there is trouble everywhere due to rain. Several feet of water has accumulated on the roads and due to this the traffic has slowed down completely.

The waterlogging on Bhagwan Das Road in front of the Supreme Court was so much that the tires and bumpers of the vehicles were submerged in water. A similar situation was seen in front of Bharat Mandapam. The tunnel built there was closed due to waterlogging.
How will be the temperature in coming days?
Meanwhile the Meteorological Department (IMD) had already issued an alert regarding heavy rain for about 3 hours on Thursday morning. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur throughout the day today, due to which the temperature is expected to remain between 24°C to 34°C. The humidity level will be between 68% to 85% and the wind speed can be 5 to 13 kilometers per hour. There is also a possibility of showers with thunder and lightning.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain will continue till August 16. There is a high possibility of heavy rain especially on August 14 and 15. While the reason for this is the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal. Due to which the rain will continue in the next few days. There may be a decrease in rain after August 17.

IMD has predicted rain in the state till the 20th. Tomorrow is August 15. Tomorrow India will celebrate its Independence Day. Rain in Delhi can disturb the celebration of independence. Tomorrow the sky in Delhi can be cloudy. Also, there can be rain or thundershowers.
