Learn what the ICC rule is

According to reports, the ICC instituted a rule about 26 years ago, under which the winning team is given the trophy only for photoshoots and victory parades. The trophy is then returned to the ICC's Dubai headquarters. The winning team is later presented with a replica trophy, which is identical to the original. This rule is intended to protect the trophy from theft or damage.
