Uttarkashi Cloudburst:  Heavy damage has been caused due to cloudburst in Naugaon market of Uttarkashi district, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken cognizance of this incident. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami immediately talked to the District Magistrate and directed to conduct relief and rescue operations on a war footing. Teams of District Administration, SDRF and NDRF have left for the affected area.

Apart from this, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has also clearly directed to immediately take the affected people to safe places and ensure that there is no delay in all possible help. CM Dhami has prayed to God for the safety of everyone.

Landslide in Brahmasain area poses danger to local people At the same time, continuous landslides in Brahmasain area near Gopeshwar headquarters of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand have created a serious threat to the local residents. Due to heavy rains, about 150 meters long road has completely collapsed, due to which cracks have appeared in the nearby residential houses. There is an atmosphere of panic among the people living in the affected area and many families are worried about their safety.

Relief and rescue operations on a war footing

District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari said that several places have been affected due to the continuous landslides. To assess the damage caused by this natural disaster, the administration has prepared a detailed report and sent it to the government. He said, "We have given complete information about the landslide affected areas to the government. An expert team constituted by the Government of India will soon reach Chamoli and inspect the affected areas and assess the damage."

Help being provided to the affected - DM

The District Magistrate said that the administration is keeping an eye on the situation and all possible assistance is being provided to the affected people. Our priority is the safety of the people. Relief and rescue operations have been started in the affected areas. After the visit of the Government of India team, an accurate assessment of the damage will be done, on the basis of which rehabilitation and repair work will be started.

Some families left their homes

The collapse of the road in Brahmasain has not only brought the traffic system to a standstill, but the foundations of the surrounding houses have also weakened. Local residents say that the incidents of landslides have increased due to rain, causing cracks in the walls of their houses. Some families have started leaving their homes and taking shelter in safer places.
