CM Pushkar Singh Dhami immediately talked to the District Magistrate and directed to conduct relief and rescue operations on a war footing. Teams of District Administration, SDRF and NDRF have left for the affected area.

Landslide in Brahmasain area poses danger to local people At the same time, continuous landslides in Brahmasain area near Gopeshwar headquarters of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand have created a serious threat to the local residents. Due to heavy rains, about 150 meters long road has completely collapsed, due to which cracks have appeared in the nearby residential houses. There is an atmosphere of panic among the people living in the affected area and many families are worried about their safety.

District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari said that several places have been affected due to the continuous landslides. To assess the damage caused by this natural disaster, the administration has prepared a detailed report and sent it to the government. He said, "We have given complete information about the landslide affected areas to the government. An expert team constituted by the Government of India will soon reach Chamoli and inspect the affected areas and assess the damage."

Relief and rescue operations have been started in the affected areas. Some families left their homes
The collapse of the road in Brahmasain has not only brought the traffic system to a standstill, but the foundations of the surrounding houses have also weakened. Local residents say that the incidents of landslides have increased due to rain, causing cracks in the walls of their houses. Some families have started leaving their homes and taking shelter in safer places.
