Japan is an Earthquake-Prone Country

Japan is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, where tectonic plate activity persists. Small and moderate earthquakes occur frequently in this region, while large earthquakes occasionally cause significant devastation. Experts say that buildings and bridges in Japan are built to high seismic standards, significantly reducing the impact of earthquakes.
